I absolutely love karaoking David Bowie songs. “Life on Mars” ranks highly, but nothing is quite amazing as “Space Oddity.” And now an illustrator named Andrew Kolb has made a picture book of the iconic song. And it’s awesome! The story of Major Tom is available in PDF form now, but if there’s enough demand Kolb will make a printed book. If he does, it will replace Goodnight Moon as the baby gift I always get for friends. Because planet earth is blue and there’s nothing I can do.
