I couldn’t have been further from a math major in college, which is why I regarded them as exotic, rare birds of a different feather. They knew how to do complex equations where I had voluntarily opted out of calculus my senior year to give myself a math vacation. I did take a couple of math classes in school — including a fascinating one focused on game theory — but my head has never been very logical.
