Right, so, artist Rie Hosokai makes gorgeous dresses out of — you guessed it — balloons. Hosokai, who goes by Daisy Balloon (of course), strings together hundreds of balloons into wearable art. You probably can’t sit down in them, and the balloons lose their light, airy shape after 24 hours or so, but that hasn’t stopped Rie from charging customers $2,000 to wear her creations. That sounds crazy, right? It’s pretty insane. Also insane — the amount of detail, creativity and artistry Hosokai manages to produce in balloon form.
