Track Was A Druggie? Bristol Had Work Before? Mercede Johnston’s Many Claims About The Palins

Levi Johnston’s sister, Mercede Johnston, makes her big Playboy debut this week, taking it all off for a four-page pictorial accompanied by an interview where she launches some pretty big allegation grenades against Sarah Palin and her family. And these are in addition to the charge Bristol Palin allegedly got pregnant on purpose. After the jump, we rate the probable likelihood of Mercede’s latest claims about the Palin clan. If I were Mercede, I wouldn’t say such things about a family of sharp shooters. Related: When Posing Naked Runs In The Family

THE CLAIM: Sarah Palin sent son Track into the army so no one would catch on to the fact that he had a raging drug habit.

As Mercede Puts It: “He would do a lot of drugs. He did OxyContin and mostly cocaine. He didn’t choose to go into the Army; he went there because his mom made him, to get him out of the way so when she was at the convention they wouldn’t know he does drugs and would think he was a patriot. It’s a front. It was all to get her son out of the way so it didn’t ruin her reputation.”

Probability Rating (on a scale of 1, not possible, to 10, absolutely true): 4. Mercede and Levi’s mom, Sherry, did plead guilty to dealing OxyContin, so she does know something about the drug and if Track were abusing it, he could potentially have gone through Sherry for it. But still, there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of truth in here. The army is hardly the place to go with a drug habit, since they’ve been cracking down on drug use in the ranks for years.

THE CLAIM: Bristol Palin’s recent plastic surgery isn’t her first.

As Mercede Puts It: “She’s had numerous surgeries on her face, her chin twice or three times…Before Tripp was born she had liposuction here and liposuction elsewhere – where, I’m not supposed to say because Levi made me promise. And she had something else done after Tripp was born.”

Probability Rating: 3. I don’t know about this one. Before the Palins shot into the public spotlight, Bristol wouldn’t have had any reason to get any work done. She was just a normal high school girl.

THE CLAIM: That Bristol and Levi were trying to get preggers together.

As Mercede Puts It: “Bristol’s pregnancy wasn’t unexpected, an accident. She and Levi planned it. They were trying to conceive for months.”

Probability Rating: 2. This sounds suspect. And Mercede contradicted this claim when she revealed a text message Bristol allegedly sent Levi that read, “Ever since the moment I found out I was pregnant, I prayed to God you weren’t the father.” Doesn’t sound like the words of a woman who was actively trying to conceive with him.

THE CLAIM: Sarah Palin is a crappy mom.

As Mercede Puts It: “She’s never there for [her kids].  She doesn’t make her kids go to school.  She’d rather parade them around and put on a show at book signings or conventions.”

Probability Rating: 3. I have serious doubts about Palin’s ability to govern the entire country. But I don’t doubt her ability to govern her household. Sarah is obviously a dedicated mom. Sure they may not have had a traditional upbringing, but still.

THE CLAIM: The Palins used Levi as a political chess piece.

As Mercede Puts It: “Not once did Sarah contact us and say, ‘Is this okay?’ She literally took Levi from a hunting trip and flew him to the Republican convention. He didn’t have a choice. I don’t blame John McCain – this is all Sarah Palin. She didn’t have to announce on stage that Bristol was pregnant.  She doesn’t care, as long as she’s going to the top.  But it’s screwed my whole family up. Levi was a prop, and once they didn’t need him he was out the door.”

Probability Rating: 9. Duh.

THE CLAIM: Bristol rekindled her romance with Levi to get him to discredit his claims about the Palins.

As Mercede Puts It: “I don’t think Bristol wanted to be with him whatsoever, not at all. It was all about her using her body to get Levi to retract his statements, and it worked…They only wanted them back together so they could control Levi, have him say he lied so no one would believe what he said and no one would believe Levi again…Everyone who knows Levi knows everything he said was true and then some.”

Probability Rating: 8. That’s very possible. We didn’t understand why she got back with him after some of the things he said, so this kinda makes sense.

THE CLAIM: Bristol has banned Mercede from seeing baby Tripp.

As Mercede Puts It: “[She sent me a text message that said] ‘I hope it was worth it having Lenisha [Levi’s ex] at your house ’cause you’re never gonna f**king see your nephew again, b***h.’”

Probability Rating: 6. I totally believe that Bristol doesn’t want Mercede seeing her son. But I don’t think it’s because Mercede has a friendship with another one of Levi’s exes. But it might have something to do with the nasty things she’s said on her blog about the Palins or directly to the press.

THE CLAIM: The Palins have blacklisted Mercede from getting a job.

As Mercede Puts It: “It’s hard to get a job in this town because of the Palins. That’s one of the worst things to come of this whole ordeal. I’ve worked since I was 13 years old. People say, ‘Oh, Mercede Johnston, I don’t know if people are going to come in if she works here.’ Or, ‘We love the Palins, so we’re not going to hire her.’”

Probability Rating: 4. Again, I believe Mercede is having trouble finding a job. But I find it amusing that she hasn’t considered the idea that it’s because of her running her muth. Or perhaps the fact that she posed naked for Playboy. That often doesn’t go over so well with employers.

What do you think—does anything here ring true to you?
