  • Dolly Parton has publicly apologized to a lesbian couple who were discriminated against while visiting her theme park, Dollywood, in July. One woman was wearing a T-shirt that said “Marriage Is So Gay” and was asked by a security guard to turn it inside out before entering the park. Parton released a statement reading: “I am truly sorry for the hurt or embarrassment regarding the gay and lesbian T-shirt incident at Dollywood’s Splash Country recently.
