We talk a lot about dating dealbreakers here at the Frisky — things like neckbeards and global warming denial that can instantly end a date or even a relationship. But what about shopping dealbreakers? Example: for me, a tag that says “hand wash only” is the equivalent of a guy who wears spotless white sneakers. No matter how much I’m attracted to it or how strong it looks, I know it is actually fragile and high maintenance and things will never work out between us. My friend Rachel will walk away from even the most beautiful dress if it contains one percent polyester. My brother won’t buy clothes that are made in China. Is there anything that would cause you to put an otherwise awesome piece of clothing back on the rack?
