Though I’m rarely seen in public without makeup, even I realize the ridiculousness of wearing a full face of makeup on the beach. I was fully on Team No Beach Makeup … until last Monday. After a day of relaxing on the sand and in the sun, I looked haggard. My eyes were sunken with small bags, and my skin was oily and shiny. Luckily, I had sunglasses and a hat to hide my mug. But it made me reconsider my stance on beach makeup. Here are the makeup and accessories that will keep you looking beautiful at the beach and on the way home. Of course, if you’re actually going swimming, which I hardly do, then forget the makeup, but make sure you have these accessories at hand.
