Shun, Shag, Or Marry: The Hot Men Of Wimbledon

Earlier this week, Jessica was offended that the Wimbledon website was asking fans to vote for the tennis players in the tournament they found most attractive. I, on the other hand, have little to no problem with it. I mean, it’s just a fact that athletes are often good-looking and I definitely don’t mind ogling some hot bodies. Which is why I thought it was a high time to play a little game of Shun, Shag, or Marry with the hot guys who make Wimbledon must-see TV. After the jump, my selections. Feel free to share yours after the jump. Marry: Andy Roddick
Andy Roddick is the Wimbledon underdog—he’s been a runner-up in the tournament three times, most heartbreakingly two years ago when he lost in the fifth set to Roger Federer. And sadly, Roddick won’t get a chance to redeem himself this year—he just lost in round three in a major upset. But still, of all the guys on the court, he’s the one I’d want to come home to at the end of the day. With his sweet demeanor and world-record worthy serve, Andy is a keeper. Hey, Brooklyn Decker agrees as does Mandy Moore before her.

Shag: Rafael Nadal
Rafael Nadal of Spain comes into this year’s Wimbledon ranked number uno in the world. Oh, and he just happened to win the tournament in 2008 and 2010. In fact, he hasn’t lost a set at Wimbeldon since 2007. (He’s playing his third round set as I type this.) All of this has me thinking that he’s probably feeling a little cocky right now. Double that sentiment since he’s been an Emporio Armani underwear model. Since vulnerability is the key to love, I’m thinking Rafael is just fling material at the moment.

Shun: Roger Federer
He may be widely considered the greatest tennis player of all time and have a great head of hair, but Roger Federer of Switzerland’s attitude makes him considerably less attractive. I mean, sure he has six Wimbeldon titles and has cruised through so far this year. (He’ll play his third round game shortly.) Known for being a touch arrogant, getting testy with the press and beefing with, oh, pretty much everyone, we’ll give this stud a pass.
