Anthony Weiner Has Job Offers From “Entourage,” Larry Flynt

With it clear that Weinergate wasn’t disappearing anytime soon, yesterday Anthony Weiner held a press conference yesterday to announce that he was resigning from his post in the House of Representatives. “I had hoped to be able to continue the work that my constituents elected me to do,” he said. “Unfortunately, the distraction that I myself have created has made that impossible.”

But it does not look like Anthony will be unemployed for long. Today, both Larry Flynt and the television show “Entourage” reached out to him, offering him work. Larry Flynt took to the Huffington Post to extend his plea. “I would like to make you an offer of employment at Flynt Management Group, LLC in our Internet group. As a Congressman, you are known for your intensity and perseverance. I believe that this attitude, combined with your service in the House of Representatives’ Committee on Energy and Commerce, will make you a valuable asset to this corporation,” he said. “This offer is not made in jest. To show our sincerity, Flynt Management Group, LLC is willing to pay twenty percent more than your former Congressional salary.”

But he is not the only one with his eye on Weiner. Doug Ellin, the executive producer of “Entourage,” has also extended an offer. He wants Weiner to do a guest spot on the series, playing himself.

What do you think—should Weiner jump on either of these opportunities? If not, what should he do now?
