Is Sarah Palin Moving To Arizona?

Gird your loins, Arizona: Sarah Palin might be moving in! The Atlantic Wire reports the former governor of Alaska allegedly bought an 8,000-square foot, $1.6 million home in a secluded area of Scottsdale, Arizona. The identity of the buyer is hidden on the property records, but the lawyer for the sale suspiciously replied “No comment!” when asked if the buyer was Palin. The fancy pad features six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a swimming pool and spa, a six-car garage, a wine cellar, and a guard gate. Damn! Sources say Palin may base a possible 2012 presidential run in Arizona or run for Senator Jon Kyl’s soon-to-be-vacated seat. Or maybe she’s just trying to move far, far, far away from Levi Johnston? Either way, a move to Arizona would put the family closer to Bristol Palin, who recently bought a house in Maricopa County.

As much as Sarah Palin needs to stay out of politics forever, starting yesterday, because her anti-abortion, pro-abstinence education policies are so terrible for women and girls, I have to admit that moving to the lower 48 would be a savvy move on her part. What do you think?
