I saw images of these custom-made Hermes Vans yesterday and was practically dying. I don’t really wear flats, like, ever, but I might make an exception for these gorgeously patterned skate shoes, which were custom created by Vans for stylist Robert Verdi. The bright patterns and colors practically scream “I know how to have a laid back good time, dude.” Sadly, these slip-ons aren’t going to be massed produced–they were simply made after Verdi brought in some of his vintage Hermes scarves and had the Vans team re-create them in shoe form. But they are inspiring me to grab a paint brush and a pair of canvas tennis shoes and see what happens. Check out a couple other Verdi-special shoes after the jump! [Huh Magazine]
