It’s time again for “Dear Wendy Updates,” a feature where people I’ve given advice to in the past let us know whether they followed the advice and how they’re doing today. After the jump, we hear from “Bated Breath” who wondered if she should wait for her long distance boyfriend of four months to say “I love you” or say it to him first. I thought you might want to know that after over a year and three months of dating, my boyfriend FINALLY told me he loves me. Granted, it was long-distance and that makes things feel different, but I was so glad I waited. It was worth it! Anyway, since I am practically shouting it from the rooftops, I thought you might want to know, since you were so helpful back when I was freaking out in June of last year. Also, if it is relevant, you may share this story with any other advice-seekers in a similar predicament. Thanks again for your help, I’m so glad I waited! — Bated Breath NO MORE
