Cameron Diaz may be anti-marriage, but she isn’t opposed to the idea of having kids. She is rumored to be close to signing on for a movie version of What To Expect When You’re Expecting. Yes, as in the pregnancy manual. Lionsgate is currently putting together a film based on the best-selling book, but it won’t be a how-to. It’ll be a romantic comedy about five couples who are about to have a baby. The movie’s director compares it to “Love Actually.”I don’t know about this role for Cameron. I’ve always liked her best in comedies with some bite, a la “There’s Something About Mary.” I feel like she was on the right track with “Bad Teacher,” but “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” sounds sort of saccharine. What do you think?
