January Jones‘ interview in the new issue of W magazine is pretty juicy. Not only does she reveal that the character of Betty Draper was not a part of the original “Mad Men” pilot, and that the role was essentially crafted for her, but she shares that in real life, she dresses nothing like Betty. In fact, she says she’s a bit of a tomboy. “I’m really like a guy in a lot of ways,” she says. “My screen saver is a picture of me with Eli and Peyton Manning taken at the Kentucky Derby. The most starstruck I get is around football players. I like the Pittsburgh Steelers—I was going to be Troy Polamalu for Halloween.” Which is actually an awesome costume idea. [W Magazine]
