Women often get a bad rap for being shoe obsessed, but most women I know have nothing on the men of the Mexican town of Matehuala. The men and boys in Matehuala have been busy trying to outdo themselves with more elaborate and outlandish shoes–like the oversized elfish cowboy boots shown above. Styles and trends change rapidly, and the guys struggle to keep up with one another’s shoe habits.
