Rosie O’Donnell Vs. “Glee”‘s Ashley Fink

Have you been watching “Glee”? Popular bad boy, Puck (played by Mark Salling), admitted he has the hots for bad ass big girl, Lauren (played by Ashley Fink). They aren’t officially a couple, but Puck is courting Lauren at her request while she plays hard to get. I was thinking it was just a matter of time before someone voiced an unkind opinion about the romance, but I didn’t expect it to come from Rosie O’Donnell. Find out what she said after the jump. In a recent “Access Hollywood” interview, Rosie told us how she really feels about the character of Lauren:

“Every woman I know who’s heavy has very strong feelings about that storyline … They’re like, ‘Can you believe that? I think it’s horrible. That never happens in school. That character is so unlikable. Why didn’t they get a pretty heavy girl?’”

Fink (who portrays Lauren) responded to Rosie’s diggs with humor and grace:

“I’ll possibly address it with her in the future. If I see her, I might be like, ‘Woman, let’s talk about this. Don’t be jealous ’cause a big girl’s doing her thing on Glee.’ I love Rosie and I respect her opinion, so all I can say is that some of her comments were strange to me. But she was supportive originally, and I think she’s still supportive.”

I’ve personally been loving the Puck/Lauren storyline. I think her character is awesome, if a tad unrealistic. But seriously, pretty much nothing that happens on “Glee” is realistic. What do you think? [ONTD]
