Valentine’s Day was much more fun when I was 11 and I could spend the evening alone with my brand new copies of Tiger Beat and Bop. As I would rip out the fold out posters of my favorite teen idols to hang in my locker, I would read the stud of the month’s profile (he likes puppies and his favorite color is red!) and imagine what our special Valentine’s Day would be like.
