You have plans this Saturday night. Yes, you do. At 9 p.m. on the 29th, you will be watching Tiffany and Debbie (fine, Deborah) Gibson in their SyFy movie, “Mega Python vs. Gatoroid.” And it should be either (a) awesome or (b) so bad it’s fun to play “Mystery Science Theater 3000″ along with. I’m betting on the second. But there are other exciting things happening on the small screen, too, as this week brings the return of many of our favorite shows. Find out what after the jump.
The Show: “State of the Union”
Set Your DVR For: Tuesday, 9pm (EST), basically any network you can turn to
Sure, it might not be the sexiest television happening, but you really should watch. My recommendation: Gather some friends and make it a drinking game.
The Show: “The Fashion Show”
Set Your DVR For: Tuesday, 10pm (EST), Bravo
I’ve truly enjoyed this season of “The Fashion Show,” at least in part because I am obsessed with Iman. The show feels like what “Project Runway” used to, so I will totally be watching the finale. Go Dominique!
The Show: “Being Erica”
Set Your DVR For: Wednesday, 11pm (EST), SoapNet
I got hooked on this SoapNet series about a woman in time travel therapy via a marathon. In this new season, Erica will find out she is not Dr. Han’s only patient.
The Show: “Nikita”
Set Your DVR For: Thursday, 9pm (EST), The CW
“Nikita” is one of my favorite new shows, and I’m really looking forward to the second half of its first season. In the next episode, Alex begins her duties as a Division agent.
The Show: “Mega Python vs. Gatoroid”
Set Your DVR For: Saturday, 9pm (EST), SyFy
All I need to say to get you to watch this is: Tiffany! Debbie Gibson! Cat fighting! Oh, and Mickey Dolenz of “The Monkees!”
