About four years ago, I was lucky enough to see Amy Winehouse perform at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom shortly after the release of her album Back To Black in the U.S. She was amazing. Her singing was top notch, her stage presence was utterly transfixing, and she was wild in a way where you knew if she kept it just reined in enough, she would go on to have a long and illustrious career. Well, we know what’s happened since. Amy is back to performing again, but video from a recent show in Brazil confirms to me that she’s still go a long way to go before she’s back on the right path. Yikes.
