Boyfriend of the
year decade Chris Brown fails at life again. Yesterday Prince Charming lashed out against the rapper Raz-B on Twitter, tweeting homophobic slurs and making comments about rape and molestation. All of Chris Brown’s nastiest tweets appear to have been deleted with only the ones where he denies being a homophobe remaining.
It’s a piping hot mess, so bear with me …The feud started when Raz-B tweeted, “Im just sittin here Thinking how can n***ers like @ebenet @ @ChrisBrown disrespect women as Intelligent as @HalleBerry11 @Rihanna” — referring, of course, to Chris Brown beating the crap out of then-girlfriend Rihanna before the 2009 Grammy’s. Halle Berry and Eric Benet are exes and he famously cheated on her before entering sex rehab.
Chris took the bait and responded with characteristic immaturity on the anger management front: “@razb2k n***a you want attention! Grow up n***a!!! D**k in da ass lil boy…Tell me this @razb2k!! Why when the money was coming in u won’t complaining about getting butplugged! #homothug!!!” Chris was referring to Raz-B’s allegation that his former manager Chris Stokes had molested him and his brother, according to Billboard.com. Raz-B later retracted the allegations.
Presumably after getting criticized by others on Twitter, Brown then tweeted, “I’m not homophobic! He’s just disrespectful!!!” Yeah, I bet he thinks he’s not a woman beater, either! If you call someone “a dick in da ass lil boy” and a “homothug” as an obvious insult, you’re using homophobic language — and guess what? That makes you a homophobe.
To be clear: Raz-B was no saint in this stupid Twitter fight either though. He was flinging homophobia right back at Chris Brown, accusing him of being on the down low. (Being on the “down low” in the African-American community means being a man who dates/marries/sleeps with women, but is secretly bisexual or gay and sleeping with men on the side.)
“Ur not homophobic, ur juz homosexual on the low!” Raz-B tweeted back. “Since you took this that far! Dude, I wasn’t Raped! What a disrespect to every Kid around the world that has been Molested!!!!!” RZA then added for good measure, “@chrisbrown u victimize victims, ur a homophobe, ur on the down low & a woman beater. Merry Christmas & thx 4 showin every1 ur true colors.” Raz-B also tweeted, “@chrisbrown Is this your way of coming on to me???? Dude im not Gay! I was molested! Stop disrespecting the LGBT community!” Raz wrote. “I heard U say ur mom was abused & this is how u represent urself by disrepectin WOMEN?!” and “@Chrisbrown Do you hit your boyfriend @andre_merritt like you do your women?” (Andre Merritt is a producer.)
Chris Brown responded by dissing Raz-B career for not being as, um, illustrious as his: “@razb2k when I need tips on how to demolish my career I’ll call ya!!!!!” Brown replied. Funny, he seemed to have that pretty well figured out himself last year. ” Oh and this: “Ur a x backup singer!!!!! What do u make? Like $1.99 an hour…This argument lasted longer than your career.” And then this: “@razb2k merry christmas. I just gave you 20 thousand more followers.. u shouldve did this first instead of telling the world you got raped.”
Chris Brown later tweeted — perhaps thinking about album sales got the better of him? — that he really was just joking about the homophobia stuff. “BTW…I love all my gay fans and this immature act is not targeted at you!!!! Love.” Raz-B, for his part, kept tweeting the hashtag #WomanBeater.
This stupid Twitter feud continued on and on, unfortunately. You can read the whole sordid exchange on E! Online, if you so desire. Honestly, continually getting upset by the abuse spewed by this f**kup is a waste of time. Chris Brown appears to never learn. He thinks he’s so impenetrable — impenetrable as Kanye “Holding A Woman’s Decapitated Head” West, perhaps? — that he cannot only send a woman to the hospital and get off relatively scot-free, but use homophobic slurs and apologize two seconds later with a “JK! JK!” kind of response. Hmm, maybe there’s a connection between his lack of accountability and his continually abusive behavior. Just a thought!
Chris Brown, probably at the behest of his PR team, eventually apologized on Twitter and insisted he looooves everyone. OK, dude. You sure have a funny way of showing it.
