Album Drop: This Week’s New Releases, From Daft Punk To T.I.

It’s almost Christmas, and the music industry knows you’re looking for the perfect stocking stuffers! While MP3s won’t fit, a CD certainly will. So, it’s no surprise that we’ve been in sort of an awesome streak for new tunes. This week is no different! We’re gonna show T.I. no mercy. Let Sufjan Stevens delight us. Check in with Duffy. Hitch onto Ryan Bingham’s star. And go back to the future with Daft Punk. So, let’s get into the groove, after the jump.

Daft Punk, Tron: Legacy
While I don’t normally list soundtracks, when it’s Daft Punk’s score for “Tron: Legacy,” I gotta make an exception. Mind, prepare to be blown.

Duffy, Endlessly
Another retro record that sounds straight outta 1964.

T.I., No Mercy
T.I. we love you, and your hot trax. Heck, we even stood by you through those rough jail times. But why o’ why are you rapping with Chris Brown? It makes my girl boner for you go bye-bye.

Sufjan Stevens, All Delighted People
A tender record of beautifully introspective tunes. After the awesome Age Of Adz, which came out in October, it’s pretty clear 2010 is the year of Sufjan.

Ryan Bingham & The Dead Horses, Junky Star
Young singer/songwriter sounds like Bruce Springsteen, looks totally boss.
