Today, Entertainment Weekly‘s annual Entertainers of the Year issue hits newsstands. And Taylor Swift is on the cover, in a suit and bowtie, touching the rim of her top hat. It’s pretty obvious why EW decided to bestow the honor upon TayTay, making her their youngest Entertainer of the Year ever. This year, she reeled in four Grammys, starred in “Valentine’s Day,” and had some high-profile romances, including with hot new boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal. Not to mention that her new album, Speak Now, has sold more than a million copies, making it the biggest release in five years. But still, she’s so … milquetoast. EW features 15 folks total in the issue and, luckily, they made some alternate covers—one with Jon Hamm, one with Jane Lynch, and one with Rico Rodriguez of “Modern Family.” Here’s wishing Jon or Jane had gotten the top billing. That Jon cover reveals a goofy side of him I didn’t know existed. And I love Jane’s tracksuit-inspired ball gown.
Who would be your pick for Entertainer of the Year?
