The Boob Tube: Must-See TV For The Week Of November 29, 2010

This week is bringing us some real small-screen delights, from an episode of “Gossip Girl” that Entertainment Weekly promises is “the best-of-the-season-so-far” to a new Sunday night series on A&E called “The Hasselhoffs,” which is, well, exactly what it sounds like. But the real treasures are Showtime’s documentary “The Other City,” the finale of “America’s Next Top Model,” and the premiere of “Top Chef All-Stars.” After the jump, previews and more.

The Show: “America’s Next Top Model”
Set Your DVR For: Wednesday, 8 p.m. (EST), The CW
It’s Ann versus Chelsey in the finale of “ANTM.” Who will win? Oddly, it’s never the winner who goes on to great things. So maybe both ladies should shoot for second?

The Show: “The Other City”
Set Your DVR For: Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. (EST), Showtime
It’s a startling statistic: three percent of the residents of Washington, D.C. have been diagnosed with HIV and AIDS. This documentary follows several of them. Sad stuff, but important to watch on World AIDS Day.

The Show: “Top Chef All-Stars”
Set Your DVR For: Wednesday, 10 p.m. (EST), Bravo
This season of “Top Chef” has brought the best chefs who didn’t win. Their first challenge: to re-create the dish that got them voted off the first time around. Is it wrong that I’m rooting for Marcel?

The Show: “Celebrity Rehab 4″
Set Your DVR For: Wednesday, 10 p.m. (EST), VH1
Jeremy London. Rachel Uchitel. Jason Wahler of “The Hills.” And Janice Dickinson. Can’t wait.

The Show: “Psych”
Set Your DVR For: Wednesday, 10 p.m. (EST), USA
Woo-hoo! “Psych” is bringing us a “Twin Peaks” homage, complete with Ray Wise, Sherilyn Fenn, Sheryl Lee, Dana Ashbrook, Robyn Lively, Lenny Von Dohlen and Catherine Coulson as guest stars.
