Last Tuesday, the baddest lady rapper in the biz, Nicki Minaj, dropped her new record. And Pink Friday has three of my favorite things: pink, Fridays, and sick rhymes. But behind those fabulous rhinestone accessories beats the heart of the best thing to happen to rap since Jay-Z came out of retirement. Yeah, I said it. Last night, I was glued to the bitch-tasy that was the MTV special “My Time Now,” which was all about Nicki’s journey from her hometown in Trinidad to her hustle in the studio.
