The Boob Tube: Television Highlights For The Week Of November 15, 2010
The thing I am most excited for on the small screen this week: the return of Robin Sparkles on “How I Met Your Mother.” Oh, but there’s lots more to look forward to. After the jump, what you’ll want to watch this week from “16 and Pregnant” to the season finale of “Top Chef: Just Desserts.”
The Show: “How I Met Your Mother”
Set Your DVR For: Tonight, 8 p.m. (EST), CBS
It’s an exciting episode of “HIMYM.” Nope, the titular mother doesn’t appear. But we do get another dose of Robin Sparkle’s back story and meet her partner—Jessica Glitter—played by Nicole Scherzinger. And it looks like maybe they’ll do a reunion show?
The Show: “Weeds”
Set Your DVR For: Monday, 10 p.m. (EST), Showtime
Will Nancy and the rest of the Botwins make it out of the country safely? We’re expecting big surprises.
The Show: “16 and Pregnant”
Set Your DVR For: Tuesday, 10 p.m. (EST), MTV
This show still amazes me. This week’s couple dealing with an unwanted pregnancy not only has trust issues, such as with cheating, but violence issues, too.
The Show: “Top Chef: Just Desserts”
Set Your DVR For: Wednesday, 10 p.m. (EST), Bravo
Nothing has ever made me quite as hungry as this show. I think it’s pretty clear Morgan will win, but I guess we could be surprised?
The Show: “Homemade Millionaire”
Set Your DVR For: Friday, 10 p.m. (EST), TLC
Kelly Ripa hosts this new show where mom inventors get a chance to pitch their inventions to HSN. Some of the inventions are lame; some are genius. But the show looks like it could be pretty touching.
