The 30-Day Cellulite Challenge: Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the 30-Day Cellulite Challenge in which I attempt to get rid of my cellulite, and we all spend a couple of minutes a day contemplating the current state of my rump. After I announced this groundbreaking experiment yesterday, several of you made comments along the lines of, as meredith806 put it, “Pics or it didn’t happen.” Well, if you people think I am going to post photos of my exposed derriere to the internet, you are sorely mistaken. That said, I decided to photograph my bottom today, in case I change my mind in 29 days. (Don’t hold your breath!) Have you ever tried taking a photograph of your butt? Let me tell you, it isn’t easy. The results will not be published anytime soon, I can assure you.

Basically, my buttocks look pretty much the same as they did yesterday. And I still really need to go to yoga. I think the best thing about the butt is that it’s not in your face all the time. When it is, you develop a different relationship with your butt. Now that I have spent two days in a row examining my butt, I am developing a more intimate relationship with it, and I would not say that is a good thing. Do I need butt implants? I wondered. Perhaps not.

What I Learned: I am not my butt.
