We’ve been reading Jackie Johnson’s amazing fashion blog, Some Notes on Napkins, for a while now, and we love her cool Southern California style and outgoing persona. In addition to her blogging duties, she’s also the co-founder of (No Subject), a creative agency “which challenges the typical agency structure through “out of the box” events that seek to enlighten, entertain, and inform the community.”
We recently caught up with Jackie and asked her about some of her favorite things right now.
Mark Ronson + The Business International: The whole album. on repeat. but specifically the Boy George cameo on “Somebody to Love Me”
Low Luv: Erin Wasson’s jewelry line is absolutely incredible. I want to own every single piece.
Instagr.am: The amazing iPhone app. It’s like if Twitter + Tumblr had a beautifully designed baby. Creating new age pics with a vintage feel since 2010.
We Live in Public: A documentary I recently saw about the internet in the late ’90s, early 2000s. It’s a really interesting film on the birth of the social web, reality TV, plus it has some hilarious ’90s characters.
Palm Springs: I am obsessed with Palm Springs! The old world Hollywood feel, the perfect desert temperatures + the architecture. I recommend brunch at the Parker, cocktails at the Viceroy, and lounging by the pool at the ACE hotel.
