Connie Britton Sadsies About The End Of “Friday Night Lights”

“I think I’m still in shock about it actually. We are used to going away for a long hiatus and then going back, so the fact we’re not going back has yet to sink in… The last three episodes especially are incredibly special. They are going to be extraordinary moments in television… The goal really was to give the audience a sense of where every character would be going. Not in an overly neat way, I think there will be a lot of questions left hanging but you will also see the next trajectory for each one of these characters. It’s that beautiful thing where on one hand, you’re saying goodbye, but on the other, you’re wondering where they’re going next. I think it’s quite perfect.”

—Connie Britton, aka Tami Taylor on “Friday Night Light,” talks about the final season of the show. Lucky folks with DirecTV got to watch the first episode last night. The rest of us will have to wait until the spring, when NBC will air it. Which is obviously purely evil. [NY Post]
