Jennifer Lopez Uses Kids To Sell Gucci, Raise Money For UNICEF

So, tell me what you think of this. Since the birth of her twins, Max and Emme, with husband Mark Antony, Jennifer Lopez has done a pretty impressive job of keeping her kids out of the limelight. Considering all that came before it — that dress, dating Diddy, Bennifer — I wouldn’t have expected JLo to be so, well, discreet. Other than some paparazzi shots, we haven’t seen much of her twins. Until now, that is. This week, there’s a new ad campaign featuring Lopez and both kids for Gucci’s newly launched fashion line for children (eh, Gucci, for tots, really?), and Gucci is also donating money to UNICEF. Says Gucci: “In celebration of its partnership with UNICEF and the launch of its new children’s collection Gucci has pledged a further US$ 1 million to UNICEF’s ‘Schools for Africa’ initiative with a specific focus on Mozambique and Malawi.” Which is great. But, I don’t know, using your toddlers to sell designer clothes just seems tacky. And what about all the money that Lopez was paid to appear in the campaign? Couldn’t that have been donated as well? Tell me what you think. [ONTD]
