Finally: Lanvin For H&M’s First Look
We’ve been waiting with bated breath to get a glimpse of Lanvin’s highly anticipated collection for H&M. French Vogue released the first image from the ad campaign on its website this morning. Our initial impressions: this first look tells us that at least a significant part of the line will be devoted to evening attire, and we’re glad Alber Elbaz incorporated some classic Lanvin shapes and silhouettes (loving the voluminous one-shoulder dress on the left). Of course, we won’t be able to fully assess before actually seeing the clothes and trying them on, but we do have to wonder about the quality of fabric and construction. A tuxedo jacket (second look to the left) done in a shiny fabric can look really, really cheap if the fit is off.
What do you think of these styles? Excited for the collab to hit stores? [Vogue]
