Album Drop: This Week’s New Releases, From Shakira To The Kings Of Leon

Hey dudes, it’s Tues! Which can only mean one thing (well, unless it’s also Mardi Gras): new jams! This week Shakira is going “Loca”; Bo Burnham has got some words for us; Mt. Desolation is good company. And the Kings Of Leon rise and shine at Sundown. So, get those headphones on and let’s get into the groove after the jump!

Kings Of Leon, Come Around Sundown
No “Sex on Fire” here, just gut-wrenching vocals with indie-gospel meets southern rock. This record is closer to their “California Waiting” than the crazy hipster pop of their past couple records. I’m partial to the above track, “Mary”, but you can check out the single, “Radioactive,” here. It’s nice to have the good ol’ boys back.

Shakira, Sale El Sol
“I’m crazy, but you like it.” That lyric from “Loca” about sums up the record.

Bo Burnham, Words, Words, Words
Guy who looks like grownup YouTube sensation “Fred” will make you (and your teenage brother) laugh at the disgustingly hilarious and nerdy stuff that comes out of his mouth.

Mt. Desolation, Mt. Desolation
Sweet slow songs for chillin’ from across the pond.
