Aside from Kanye’s kick ass performances and a solid opening monologue from the criminally underused host Bryan Cranston (what, no “Breaking Bad” spoof?!), the most recent episode of “Saturday Night Live” was a bit of a dud. The highlight of the show featured newcomer Vanessa Bayer spoofing Miley Cyrus in what I hope will become a recurring skit called “The Miley Cyrus Show.” Her gummy, teen speak-inflected impersonation is scarily dead on.
