I wash my jeans about once every two weeks. I don’t know if this is a disgusting or normal thing to admit. It sure doesn’t sound pretty, especially considering I wear my favorite pair at least four times a week. Some people, however, never wash their jeans. Like, ever. According to the New York Daily News, raw denim (meaning pure, stiff denim that hasn’t been treated at all by sandblasting, bleach, or any other fancy processes) devotees don’t launder their denim at all because wearing them in sans-cleaning creates highly individual pairs of pants. The more you wear them, the more the wash and creases adjust to your body. Of course, then there are just folks who are lazy and prefer to avoid trips to the laundromat at all costs.
