Following the release of the Facebook movie, “The Social Network,” the Daily Beast is now calling Mark Zuckerberg a “fashion icon” because “utter disregard for personal style is the new ultimate status symbol.” We somehow doubt that people are now clawing the racks at The North Face or desperately fighting over Gap sweatshirts, but we do acknowledge that in the past year style inspiration has come from some unusual places. Bored with the pretty, we’re increasingly drawn to celebs and characters who wouldn’t ordinarily be considered fashionable. (If not to dress ourselves, then to at least have a good laugh.)
