What Do You Make Of The “Midi-Skirt” Trend?
Just as we’ve seen some interesting fluctuation in pant construction over the past year, so too has the skirt, most noticeably with the maxi skirt trend, which came back last spring. Looks like the garment is now taking the middle road as many a Milan runway saw what WWD calls the “midi-skirt,” a not quite maxi, not quite knee-length variety. Hitting just about mid-calf, the midi-skirt at first would have reminded us of conservative, vintage styles were it not for the bright patterns and fun attitude that Dolce & Gabbana, Versus, and Moschino Cheap & Chic chose to insert into their designs. What do you think of this skirt trend? Something you’d rock in the spring? Or too awkward a length to balance correctly? [Style]
