Can you make a stay in the hospital fashionable? Diane von Furstenberg was willing to try when the Cleveland Clinic enlisted her expertise to redesign the classic hospital gown. In classic DvF style, she slapped an iconic print on her design, made them reversible, and incorporated a wrap construction (of course). The design also doesn’t expose the butt like standard hospital gowns, but instead allows the patient to reveal certain parts of the body without being completely exposed. So far, the Cleveland Clinic reports that patients are generally enthusiastic about the change. Well, except for the guys: “Men feel a little uncomfortable and feel it’s slightly feminine.” [Newsweek via DNA Info]
