Celebs Who’ve Bonded Over Their Mutual Exes

It sounds like Drake didn’t get the memo that we’re all ignoring Chris Brown. Apparently, they were hanging out in SoHo this week. They didn’t get along around the time that Drake dated Rihanna, but now they’re besties and when Brown DJ’ed a few songs, he played one of Drake’s tunes and yelled, “My man, Drake.” I don’t like this one bit—but I bet Rihanna likes it even less. After the jump, we rounded up a few more celebs who’ve bonded over their mutual exes.

  • I’m sure that Britney Spears’ exes have plenty to talk about when they get together, which is exactly what Kevin Federline and Justin Timberlake have been doing. Federline actually used to do back-up dancing for Timberlake, too, and Justin invited the “aspiring rapper” to his pre-Grammy Award party in 2007. According to an eye-witness, “Justin walked right up and they man-hugged. It was clear they liked each other.” The guys also hung out at a Super Bowl party. A friend says, “K-Fed and Justin were talking for at least 20 minutes. They were laughing at Britney and how messed up she is. They’re both more than over her.” No wonder the girl had a breakdown! • As far as I’m concerned, Eddie Murphy deserves whatever is coming to him after the way he treated Mel B, so it’s kind of nice that she had lunch at The Ivy with his ex-wife Nicole, while Mel and Eddie were “embroiled in a very bitter and public paternity battle.” The ladies apparently bonded over food, babies and, undoubtedly, their mutual ex. • While working on “The Switch” together, Jennifer Aniston and Juliette Lewis apparently became good friends. Lewis insists they didn’t talk about their mutual ex, Brad Pitt. “There’s an obvious history we share but while we didn’t share stories about Brad, we did have an instant connection and mutual affection,” she said. “I love her. For Jennifer, being with Brad was profound as it was a marriage. For me, it was only like a high-school relationship. Brad and I were on a journey together at the start of our careers. Then he became this sensation in a whole other way. I always knew I’d stay an outsider.” But we’re pretty sure they got drunk and must have done at least a little gossiping. [Perez Hilton]
