I’ll admit, I tend to be underwhelmed by most designer collaborations (though I am psyched to check out the Tucker for Target dresses and blouses on Gilt today!). But in the case of Isabel Toledo for Payless, I am overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with how insanely fugs the shoes and bags are. “Was she trying to make those shoes hideous?” Annika asked about the clunky footwear. Up until now, Toledo has been a Michelle Obama-endorsed designer, but something tells me the First Lady wouldn’t be caught dead wearing any of the clunkers pictured in this slideshow.
