Music Tour Matches We’d Like To See

We were squealing in the office this morning to find out that two of our fave boy band outfits — New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys — will possibly going on tour together — creating some kind of all-powerful mega boy-band monster. The tour could start as soon as March 2011, and they might even produce a joint single to mark the occasion. Our minds are exploding at the sheer force of so much choreographed dancing and hair gel.

We’ve assembled some additional musical pairings we think need to hit the road together. Who would you like to see team up?

Music Tours We’d Like to See
Barbra Streisand and Tila Tequila
One does showtunes, the other shows her tits. Something for everyone.
Hall & Oates, Simon and Garfunkel and Garfunkel and Oates
This pair of powerhouses can have awesome intense backstage convos over which one in their pairing is “the talented one” and which one is just dead weight. Comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates can be there to lighten up all the negative vibes.
Good Charlotte and Bad Company
Good versus evil. Guyliner versus Dad Rock. We’re into it.
Blink 182 and Sum 41
This pair of semi-terrible pop-punk bands should add themselves together for what we’ll call the “223 Tour.” To be hosted by Jackée from the hit television show “227.”
Queens of the Stone Age and Kings of Leon
Call it the Royalty Rock Tour, and let these two “dirtbag hot” dude bands own the stage.
Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera
Known as C-2, this ballad-screeching pair could do some serious soprano damage — and engage in some intense high-pitched warbling battles.
