Have you been wishing you could look like lovely Betty Draper, or siren Joan Holloway, or any of the other sexy, stylish characters on “Mad Men”? Do you love ’60s fashion and wish you had access to the hit show’s wardrobe? Or, maybe you’d just love to outfit your apartment with some of the show’s cool mid-century props. Well, here’s your big chance. Beginning last night and going through the 22nd, furniture, props, and three iconic dresses worn on the show — including the green dress Joan wore in the infamous lawnmower episode — are up for auction on eBay. The 10-day celebrity auction will benefit the Lung Cancer Program and the City of Hope. “This auction offers Mad Men fans an exciting new way to connect with the series while helping to support City of Hope’s important work in research and treatment of lung cancer,” said Sandra Stern, the COO of TV for the show’s producer, Lionsgate. This is the sort of PR move Peggy might have come up with, don’t you think?
