We’ve been abuzz this week with news of flight attendant Steve Slater’s dramatic exit from a Jet Blue plane and (presumably) his job. Then we heard about the (confirmed as totally fake) woman who quit her job via a carefully worded series of dry erase board messages. It reminded us of one of our all-time favorite quitters — W. Neil Berrett — who quit via a GIANT SHEET CAKE (tasty and to-the-point!).
While we’ve certainly fantasized about leaving past jobs in a cloud of smoke, booze and tears, we’ve never actually done anything like the folks above. But we’re betting that some of you have a similar flair for the dramatic. So what’s the best or worst way you’ve ever quit a job?
