Very Important Casting Updates For “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo”

The cast of David Fincher’s upcoming version of “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,” based on the amazing Stieg Larsson novel, is starting to come together! Daniel Craig has been confirmed as the sexy, coffee-addicted, investigative journalist, Mikael Blomkvist. And yesterday it was announced that Stellan Skarsgård (of “Angels & Demons”) would be joining the cast as Martin Vanger. But who will play Erika Berger and Lisbeth Salander? There’s a new rumor swirling around that Robin Wright is in negotiations for the part of Erika. Ooh! Ooh! She’s perfect! That would be amazing if it came true. I’m kind of over the “Who will play Lisbeth?” speculations. First it was Kristen Stewart, then Carey Mulligan, followed by Natalie Portman. Insiders say that Fincher has narrowed his choices down to four actresses (none of whom happen to be big names): Rooney Mara, Lea Seydoux, Sarah Snook, and Sophie Lowe. But who knows? This could all change next week. As far as I’m concerned, no one is good enough to play Lisbeth. No one.
