At one point, a bride tries on a gown she can’t afford, and the saleswoman opines the bride “has champagne taste and a beer pocketbook.” My purse isn’t made out of an old Bud can or anything, but if I shop at the Gap, why do I dream of expensive things? Like this blue acrylic and silver spiked cuff by Burberry that costs $215? Do you have champagne taste but a beer budget?
