The Boob Tube: Must-See TV For The Week Of August 2, 2010

Big, big things are going down on the small screen this week. lt will all, of course, kick off with the season finale of “The Bachelorette,” which you will be watching along with Amelia, right? After that, we’ve got the season premiere of “The Rachel Zoe Project” and the season finale of “Friday Night Lights.” Oh, and a whole new set of “Real Housewives”—this time coming at us from our nation’s capital. After the jump, check out previews and more.

The Show: “Scream Queens 2″
Set Your DVR For: Tonight, 8 p.m. (EST), VH1
I am so sick of modeling shows, I could scream. And that’s convenient because this show lets 10 actresses battle it out to be the next horror movie star. The challenges are cool and creepy, and the tears come often because actresses are, well, dramatic. Fun!

The Show: “The Rachel Zoe Project”
Set Your DVR For: Tuesday, 10 p.m. (EST), Bravo
Rachel Zoe is back for more completely blown-out-of-proportion fashion emergencies. So soon we will have the answer to the question “Will this show work without Taylor?”

The Show: “Bad Girls Club: Miami”
Set Your DVR For: Tuesday, 9 p.m. (EST), Oxygen
This season, the “Bad Girls Club” is heading to Miami, which is coincidentally where the “Jersey Shore” kids filmed their last season. What are the odds that The Situation hooks up with one of the girls? Pretty high, actually.

The Show: “The Real Housewives of DC”
Set Your DVR For: Thursday, 9 p.m. (EST), Bravo
We’ve got a whole new bunch of catty ladies to simultaneously love and despise. I’ll definitely be checking out the DC version of the show to see what went down with the Salahis sneaking into the state dinner.

The Show: “Friday Night Lights”
Set Your DVR For: Friday, 8 p.m. (EST), NBC
Um, how is this season of “FNL” over already? That’s not fair; it just started. In the next episode the Lions play the Panthers. Oh, and Tammy gets fired, Tim and his bro face the music for their chop shoppery, and Matt Seracen returns. Tissues are at the ready.
