Levi Johnston‘s sperm is not as potent as you thought: his ex-girlfriend Lanesia Garcia says rumors that Johnston knocked her up while on a break from Bristol Palin are totally false. “Point blank, it’s not true at all,” she told Us Weekly. “We haven’t hung out at all since 8th or 9th grade when we broke up. I don’t know where people are getting this. It’s not true at all. Levi is not the father of my baby.” In fact, Garcia says she knows who the father is and he is none too pleased about the rumors. Oops! I guess you got that one wrong, National Enquirer.
Johnston is wiping his brow now that his paternity has been cleared. But still, all is not well up in Wasilla.“A source close to the couple” told E! Online that Bristol Palin called off the engagement last week after a fight about one of Levi’s exes — not Lanesia Garcia, but another girl named Briana Plum. According to the source, Briana Plum gave an interview which allegedly says negative things about Bristol. But that’s not all: “There was also some picture on Facebook of [Levi] and Briana and Bristol just said, ‘Let’s hold off on the engagement,’” the source told E!.
All this sounds very high schooler-ish and therefore possibly true. But could it also be that the Palins have talked their eldest daughter out of marrying Levi? When these crazy kids announced their engagement in Us Weekly in mid-July, Bristol admitted “we don’t have the approval of our parents.” Sarah and Todd Palin released a restrained statement about their daughter’s decision: “Bristol believes in redemption and forgiveness to a degree most of us struggle to put in practice in our daily lives. We pray that, as a couple, Bristol and Levi’s relationship matures into one that will allow Tripp to grow up graced with two loving parents in his life.” Maybe now that the fanfare has faded, the Palins have been able to talk some sense into her.
