I totally respect Sophia Bush for boycotting Urban Outfitters over their “Eat Less” T-shirt. Bush wrote the company a letter, which read, “Shame on you. I will no longer be shopping at your stores. And I will encourage the tens of thousands of female supporters I have to do the same.” I definitely spotted the shirt myself and wondered when Urban Outfitters would learn with their “anti-war scarves” and “Obama black.” Since celebrities are (maybe unfortunately) some of the most powerful people in the country, their opinions can influence millions, and sometimes those opinions come in the form of boycotts.
