Lindsay Lohan’s Cell Block Neighbor: Alexis Neiers, Who’s Accused Of Robbing Her
Lindsay Lohan has been in her 12-by-8 foot jail cell for almost a day now, and a sheriff’s department spokesperson says that, if she remains on good behavior, she will be released in about 14 days, since the prison is overcrowded. This is far, far better than the 90 days she was sentenced to. But still, Lindsay isn’t doing so hot. “She’s trying to make the necessary adjustments to an extremely stressful and difficult situation. There were some tears,” her lawyer said. “Generally, the first two days in jail are the most difficult.” [People]
Lindsay is being kept in a special segregated unit of the jail, away from the general population. And guess who is in the cell next door? Alexis Neiers, who has been accused of breaking into Lindsay’s house along with two other members of the “bling ring,” ripping her safe out of the wall, and making off with lots of clothing and jewelry. How’s that for irony? Alexis is currently serving six months for burglarizing Orlando Bloom’s home. But she’s also been accused of breaking into the homes of Audrina Patridge, Rachel Bilson, Hayden Panettiere, and Paris Hilton. Who bizarrely is a former occupant of Alexis’ cell.
But back to Lindsay. She is being confined to her cell for 22 hours a day. Upon check-in, her phone, jewelry, and even hair extensions were taken for holding. She received her “fish kit,” with toothpaste, a toothbrush, a bar of soap, and a few packets of deodorant and shampoo. And let’s just say these aren’t the kind of toiletries they have at the Chateau Marmont. Lindsay won’t be allowed to smoke, and a doctor will attend to her if her withdrawal symptoms get too severe.
However, a source says that inmates in Lindsay’s cell block can watch a TV. It’s visible through the window on their cell door, and supposedly stays on all day long. But can they hear? [People]
