I’ve got a double dose of amazing “Law & Order” news for you. As you probably remember, the classic show was canceled in May after 20 seasons. But apparently AMC—the network behind “Mad Men” and Amelia’s favorite new obsession, “Breaking Bad”— has approached NBC and asked about the possibility of creating new episodes of the series. Could there be more funky gavel sounds in our future? Potentially even more exciting: guess who has been added to the cast of “Law & Order: SVU”? Henry Ian Cusik, otherwise known as Desmond from “Lost.” Woohoo! Cusick will play a graphic artist who may or may not be a love interest for Mariska Hargitay’s Detective Benson. But will he still have an Australian Scottish accent? Please say “Aye!” [NYMag.com, TV Guide]
