Naomi Campbell, no stranger to courtroom appearances, will be testifying in a trial for someone other than her rage-y self, it seems. Former Liberian President Christopher Taylor is on trial for 11 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity and Campbell is being called to testify at the trial. According to actress Mia Farrow, Campbell herself said that Taylor gave her an uncut diamond at a party at Nelson Mandela’s house in 1997. Given that one of the charges against Taylor is that he armed rebels in return for diamonds mined by children, The Trial Chamber thought it reasonable to call on Campbell to testify.
