At first swipe, we had high hopes for Tarte’s Natural Lip Stain. Lust, the color we tested, had an appropriately sultry name and glided on with a practiced sort of ease, moisturizing as it went. Unfortunately, the honeymoon period soon disappeared and we were left with nothing but faint vestiges of the relationship we’d begun a mere hour before.
